You

Hello, my friend! I am so glad you’ve stopped by my website. It’s a blessing to me, and I hope so much that it will be a blessing to you. By now, you probably know quite a bit about me. You can find my testimony on the top of the site page, if you’re inclined to read it. Now, I’d like to tell you a little bit about YOU. Even if we’ve never met…you can rest assured that I know QUITE a bit about you.

For instance, I know that you are a precious child of God. You are unique in all the world. You are marvelous…and wonderfully complex…knit together by God’s own hands.

Psalm 139:13-16 says, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in Your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

I know that you are special, and that God has called you…and claimed you as His own. “But now, O Israel, the LORD who created you says: ‘Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.’” – Isaiah 43:1.

Although this may not be the case right now, I do know that you have seen some valleys in this life…and that you have suffered from loneliness. At one point or another, you have questioned God’s presence in your life. Let me tell you this with full certainty – you are never alone. “When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” – Isaiah 43:2.*

I also know that no matter how small or insignificant you feel at times, you are CHOSEN by God.

“But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the LORD. “And you are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God; there never has been and never will be. I am the LORD, and there is no other Savior.” – Isaiah 43:10.*

I know that God has plans for you…big plans…GOOD plans. A verse that I have written on my heart and memorized is Jeremiah 29:11…and I would gently suggest to you that you write it on your heart, as well. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” I know that God is pulling on your heart, beckoning you into a deeper relationship with Him.

I also know that God WILL reveal Himself to you, when you seek Him sincerely. “In those days when you pray, I will be found by you. If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you home again to your own land.” – Jeremiah 29:12-13.

I know that you have something in your past that you are not proud of. Or perhaps it is something you are struggling with right now. I know with all of my heart that the LORD is calling you to turn back to Him…even longing for you as a mother longs for her children. “Is Israel not still my son, my darling child?” asks the LORD. “I had to punish him, but I still love him. I long for him and surely will have mercy on him.” – Jeremiah 31:20.*

I know this about you too…you have been prayed for by the very One who gave His life for you. FOR YOU. Jesus Himself prayed that you would know Him and believe in Him so that you could enjoy eternity with Him. “I am praying not only for these disciples, but also for all who will ever believe in me because of their testimony. My prayer for all of them is that they will be one, just as you and I are one, Father – that just as you are in me and I am in you, so they will be in us, and the world will believe you sent me.” – John 17:20-21.*

You are so important to Jesus that He was willing to stretch out His arms on the cross and endure the shame and humiliation of a sinner’s death. You are madly, deeply, immeasurably loved by the One who spoke the world into existence. God made only one of you. In all the world…there has never been another you…and there never will be again. No one else in all of history has been given your exact combination of spiritual gifts. You are precious…and absolutely cherished. God knows you down to the very most intimate details…even the very hairs on your head. “What is the price of five sparrows? A couple of pennies? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to Him than a whole flock of sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7.* It almost takes my breath away. I could go on and on, but I’ll save it for my blog.

If I haven’t met you personally yet, I would love to. There is a place on this site where you can contact me, and I hope you do. Nothing lifts a believer up like testimonies from other believers….so send me yours, my friend! I promise you, it blesses me immeasurably! My prayer for you today and always is that God would bless you…and bless you…and bless you.
