Open Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am so thankful to You, and I praise Your Holy Name!! Thank You so much for this new adventure, I can’t wait to see where you take it! And I thank You in advance for all you are going to do.
God, please keep me humble. Please make my words true. Please guide me, with Your hand always on me, and help me to show others how marvelous you are. Let this only bring glory and honor to YOUR name, no one else’s!! God, when I stray from Your path, please guide me back. Please squash any sense of pride before it begins. Please give me the courage to speak the truth, no matter the cost. Please give me the strength to withstand the criticism that can come when I openly share my struggles, and my sins. You are a God who doesn’t waste anything…not a single scrap…and I pray in earnest that everything I’ve been through could work for Your good, and bless others who may be going through the same thing. Please, God, give me the words to bless those who need them.
God, I ask that You would bless the person reading this right now…right where they are. May they feel Your Spirit moving through them with every breath. Oh God, that they would come to know You more. That You would show them the joy that comes from a close, personal relationship with You. May they find something on this blog, Father, that speaks to their heart. Above all else, LORD, please, please help them to KNOW You, and to trust You. To not only believe IN You, LORD, but to believe You. To believe with full confidence that You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for their sins…and to bring them salvation. LORD, I pray that You would search the heart of everyone who reads this. Heal their deepest hurts. Quiet their greatest fears. Meet their every need, as only You can.
God, You are amazing. I am just awestruck in the face of Your boundless mercy, grace, compassion, patience, and love. Oh God, that others would come to know You the same way. That I would come to know You more. Please, God, just let me know You more. I love You so much…everything I am and have is Yours. Amen.
