Today’s Daily Bread ~ I AM

Today’s Daily Bread is a republish from July 13.

Exodus 3:14 – God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.  This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Today’s bread is a little different.  God gave this to me to give to you.  Please read it and be blessed.

My child, pause for a moment.  Close your eyes.  Take a deep breath.  When you exhale, imagine you are ridding yourself of every worry and anxiety that burdens you.  Relax.  Take another deep breath.  As you inhale, picture yourself breathing My Spirit in.  Let me fill you.  Turn every thought you have toward me.  I AM God.  And I love you more than you could ever possibly imagine.

Enjoy this moment.  Live in it.  It is My gift to you.  I do not promise you tomorrow, instead, I promise you eternity.  Let go of anything holding you back from complete surrender to me.  Just let go.  Now give it to me.  I AM God.  And I AM big enough to handle your problems.

You are surrounded by Me.  Everywhere you look, there I AM.  Let Me bathe you in My love.  Concentrate on that.  I have loved you before time existed.  I will love you as you take your last breath and pass through the door to everlasting life.  I AM God.  You are safe in My arms.

Honor My Son.  He came so that you would seek Me and know Me.  He died so that you might live.  His hands and feet bear the scars of your sins.  Because of His sacrifice, you are clean.  Let go of your past.  If you have truly repented, then I have truly forgiven you.  I AM God.  I AM the one who blots out your sins, never to think of them again. 

Be merciful to My children.  Just as I have forgiven you, forgive those who have offended you.  Let go of the hurt and the anger.  I AM God.  I AM big enough to handle your enemies.

Right now in this moment, accept My peace.  I will keep you in perfect peace as long as you trust in Me, and keep your thoughts fixed on Me.  Let Me breathe a new spirit into you.  Let Me refresh you and restore you.  Drink deeply from the River of Life.  I AM God.  I AM the one who sustains you.

Right now in this moment, accept My joy.  I do not offer happiness as the world sees happiness.  My joy is everlasting.  Trust Me for this, and your joy will overflow!  I have a glorious inheritance set aside for you.  The enemy cannot take it from you.  Age will not damage it and the elements will not weather it.  I AM God.  I have chosen you as My own.

Answer My call for your life.  I have great plans for you.  Plans for your good, to give you hope and a future.  I did not create you to settle for mediocrity.  I created you to shine.  You hold My light in your heart.  Don’t hide it.  Don’t let the enemy attempt to dim it.  Be proud of who you are in Me.  I AM God.  I AM your Father.

Don’t be afraid to share the Good News – My Son is coming quickly!  The time is drawing near.  Don’t let any of My children perish.  Don’t be ashamed to tell everyone how to find Me.  So many have lost their way.  I have put people in your path on purpose, so that they will know Me through you.  I will hold you accountable to this.  Love them, even when they hurt you.  Show them My mercy, even when they don’t deserve it.  Be gracious always.  I AM God.  And I AM counting on you. 

I love you so much.  I AM with you always, even to the end of the age.  When you are frightened, remember that I AM.  Before the world began, I AM.

Dear Heavenly Father, we love You so much.  We’re in the week of Christmas, Lord.  It’s a crazy, busy, bustling time, and we pray that we would hear Your voice.  We pray that that You would convict us to seek You in a quiet place, and be refreshed and renewed.  Please nudge us to share Jesus with someone who sees this as just a holiday, and not the sacred birth of our Lord and Savior.  The cross is the most life changing event in all of history, let us never be afraid to spread that good news!  When situations arise where we can witness, we ask that You put Your words in our mouths.  We love You, Lord, and we ask these things in the beautiful name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
